I have always loved clarity and certainty. I listen to my soul and gladly follow wherever it leads. If there was ever a pre-chorus and chorus written about me it would be the one in My Way by Aloe Blacc. Here are the lyrics:

Only two things I would change :
1. The line that says "... but the fear gives me life" to "... love gives me life"
2. Rather than the other line saying " ..people say I'm foolish, it would be .. "people say I am stubborn"..
Those changes would make it perfectly me :-)
STUBBORN : having or showing dogged determination not to change one's attitude or position on something, especially in spite of good arguments or reasons to do so.
There are a range of negative connotations to the word stubborn. I know because I've heard it a lot when people describe me; especially when I have decided to follow my bliss. I always tell people that say that I am stubborn that they have not given me enough reason to change my perspective. They have not given me enough reason to hand my power to them or to share my power with them. Based on this I wondered; how can you can give enough reason to someone who values their own clarity and certainty? How can you move someone who is certain about their purpose and is pursuing it in integrity? How can you move someone who's calling is deep within their soul? How can you move someone who is living in faith? How do you move some one who is blessed with enough patience and enough self-discipline to slowly but surely create what they wish to see in their lives ?
As I pondered this thought, I thought that I needed to celebrate the people that are described as stubborn! It is my thought that when there is no fear within them a stubborn person is one who is sure of themselves and their thoughts! This is a person who is at ease with themselves and is willing to stand in their truth knowing that they are willing to bear the consequences of their choices. This is a person who is authentic to their own needs and desires. This is a person who will live life on their own terms and do it successfully. This is a person who knows that there are always options coming their way to support their worthwhile cause. This is a person who will live a beautiful life in every second. Mmmmmmmmmmmmh ... I love this idea.
It is a delicious yummy thought!
So this simple note is to say, knowing yourself is the most precious gift you can give yourself. Once you do, you own the greatest power there is. No one or nothing external can take you away from you. Stand fully in your own essence, be true to your soul and make magic happen!
